Seoul concert will include new songs prepared differently from the previous LA concerts”

BTS selected the title song 'ON' and the b-side song 'Black Swan' of 'MAP OF THE SOUL: 7' to appease the disappointment that they could not show in front of the audience as their world tour scheduled for the COVID-19 pandemic was cancelled. Ha Jung-jae LP said, "Both of these songs are songs that stand out for their performances on a large scale, and we put great effort into preparing for performances with large-scale dancers."   this Seoul concert will include new songs prepared differently from the previous LA concerts. In this 'BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE - SEOUL', which will be held for a total of three days, BTS will change some songs for each episode and meet fans with a richer repertoire.

"The first face-to-face in 864 days" ..BTS, Seoul concert countdown begins

The group BTS started the countdown of 'BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – SEOUL', which will be held at the main stadium of Jamsil Sports Complex in Seoul on the 10th and 12th-13th.

On the 3rd, BTS started a week countdown to the concert with photos through their official SNS. Following J-Hope, who cut the first tape, Jungkook, Suga, and Jimin posted photos taken in the practice room, and added the lyrics of 'Permission to Dance', saying, "If we're together, we don't need permission", raising expectations for the concert.

■ "Meeting for the first time in 864 days… Seoul face-to-face concert held for the first time in two and a half years"

'BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE - SEOUL' will be held at the main stadium of Jamsil Sports Complex in Seoul on the 10th and 12th-13th. This is the first face-to-face concert in Seoul in about two and a half years since ‘BTS WORLD TOUR ‘LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF’ [THE FINAL]’ in October 2019, and the heat is hotter than ever.

BTS has been performing for fans through various online concerts that introduce new technologies such as multi-view live streaming, AR and XR, even at a time when face-to-face concerts are impossible due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As much as I had longed for a face-to-face concert, I am doing everything I can for this performance.

Focusing on the fact that it is a concert to meet fans directly in Seoul after a long time, BTS plans to fill in the set list by carefully selecting songs that all seven members can enjoy, including songs that could not be performed through face-to-face performances in Korea. In this concert, as well as selecting songs, BTS actively came up with ideas for stage composition and directing, and expressed their aspirations, "I will show you everything I can do."

■ Directing that maximizes the energy of BTS on stage

'BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE - SEOUL' is the largest concert held in Korea since the COVID-19 pandemic. We are ready to offer you something different.

The stage production also focused on delivering the most effective face-to-face performance to the audience after two and a half years. The largest LED in BTS concert history will be installed so that the audience can see the members on stage full of energy in high-definition.

■ Online streaming, 'Live Viewing' in movie theaters around the world, official product store… A plethora of performances 'full package'

In order to convey the heat of the concert scene more vividly and to enrich the fan experience, BTS will also conduct 'live viewing' and online streaming, where you can watch performances at the cinema.

For fans around the world who cannot find the venue in person, the performances on the first day (March 10) and the last day (March 13) will be simultaneously streamed online through the global fan community platform Weverse, and the performance on the 12th will be live viewing. It will be broadcast live worldwide. Audiences can enjoy BTS' concert vividly at movie theaters in over 60 countries/regions around the world, including Korea. BTS previously announced the live viewing news on their official YouTube channel, saying, “There is a way to see the moment when BTS and ARMY meet in a bigger and bigger way. I will work hard so that the theater can heat up with the heat of the performance,” raising the expectations of the fans.

There is another event to enjoy this performance of BTS. There is a store where you can meet various official products to keep the memories of the performance longer. In order to comply with quarantine guidelines and create a safe performance viewing environment, the 'official product sales store' of 'BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE - SEOUL' was prepared at the Lotte World Mall in Jamsil, not the concert hall. The official product sales store opened on the 5th and will be open until the 18th.

Tickets to remotely watch the upcoming BTS concert at movie theaters have nearly sold out, reflecting the high fan interest in the group's first in-person concert in Seoul in two years, officials said Friday.

Some 36,000 tickets for "live viewing" of the K-pop superstars' concert on March 12 at the theaters of CJ CGV, Lotte Cinema and Megabox nearly sold out in minutes, according to the multiplex chains Friday. Each ticket costs 49,000 won (U$40).

CGV opened the sales of 25,000 tickets at 39 screens nationwide at 10 a.m. on the previous day, and most of them were sold out immediately. Only a handful of seats were available in Wonju, Gangwon Province, as of Friday morning.

CGV said its ticketing system became overwhelmed with an influx of orders Thursday morning.

"It is actually the first time that we have experienced such a system slowdown since the pandemic," an official from CGV said.

Lotte Cinema offered 7,000 seats at 32 screens, and Megabox put 4,000 tickets at 21 screens on sale. All of them have since sold out.

BTS will throw three concerts, titled "BTS Permission To Dance On Stage - Seoul," on March 10, 12 and 13, respectively, at Jamsil Olympic Stadium in southern Seoul. This will be the septet's first in-person concerts in Seoul since its world tour performance in October 2019.

Only 15,000 people are allowed to attend the three live music events each amid a surge in daily COVID-19 infections.

Its second show on March 12 is available for the "live viewing" program at cinemas, while the other two will be livestreamed online.
